Good day Friends,

Today's tutorial is for the 'Kite Flying Festival' or as we call in India 'Makar Sankranti'

Makar Sankranti is a festival celebrated in India in the 2nd week of January on 14th or sometimes 15th of January every year.

Scientifically; it is around this time the Sun is known to complete its journey to the Tropic of Capricorn and after this day the Sun begins its Journey Northwards towards the Tropic of CancerAccording to Indian culture after this day begins the sacred or auspicious phase.

On this day people in India celebrate by Flying Kites of differents sizes, shapes, designs, patterns, colours. The sky is completely filled with colours of the Kites that fly. They eat sweets; especially Laddoos made of Til (Sesame seeds) and Gud/Gul (Jaggery).
